Ensures guest satisfaction by promoting and providing beverage services throughout the ship in a courteous and professional manner; preparation and mix drinks of various cocktails and drinks; responsible for achieving and exceeding the revenue targets through applying various sales techniques, up-selling, keeping the revenue level settled by the Bar Manager; ensures that drinks are properly garnished and served in the appropriate glassware, the bar counter is set with napkins, straws, menus; ensures that smooth operation of beverage service is maintained at all times and the quality of services provided meet the standards of the cruise line; interact with guests or fellow shipboard employees, provide information accordingly beverage positions; responsible for keeping the work area clean and sanitized according to current USPH rules and regulations of the cruise line; inventory control, re-supply, loading provisions from the ship's storage rooms; provide training to bar servers and utility personnel; prepare requisitions for needed supplies; perform duties during special events and parties as needed.
